Woodworking Academy and Routing Academy are part of Skills Development. Both are run by Master Craftsman Bob Lambert.
Owned and managed by Bob Lambert and based in Jacksdale just off the J27 of the M1 near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, The Woodworking and Routing Academy is the pride of the East Midlands. Located at the gateway to Sherwood Forest and the Derbyshire Dales they are situated near the commercial centres of Nottingham and Mansfield, We are ideally situated for a fantastic visit.
Woodworking Academy provides tuition in cabinet making and furniture making, use of power tools including Shopsmith machinery. Trained by Shopsmith they in Dayton Ohio, Bob Lambert is a qualified Shopsmith tutor who is able to provide tuition in the Shopsmith Woodworking System.
Routing Academy provides tuition specific to routing, joinery, dovetailing and moulding.

We run courses to suit people who are retired, approaching retirement or just wish to take up a hobby.
We also cater for professional improvers of all levels and offer power tool training.
