Picture of Bob Lambert Master CraftsmanBob Lambert is a highly sought after Master Craftsman with experience teaching Woodworking and Carpentry.

Bob began his full-time apprenticeship as a carpenter and joiner in 1968. Working with a company who at that time were building modern churches, he was taught all aspects of woodwork from the ground up. Being taught shuttering to fine joinery, cabinet making, roofing and stair construction meant Bob worked with wood and many other types of materials.

Upon completing his apprenticeship in 1973 and having done some teacher training, Bob has previously worked as an instructor in a rehabilitation centre, as well as teaching basic woodworking skills to people with learning difficulties.

Bob then worked for a few years as a Cabinet Maker in the boat fitting industry and eventually became Foreman of the cabinet making workshops there.

Following this, he worked for a joinery manufacturer making stairs, doors and window frames etc. until he was asked to become a Property Manager for the company he had originally served his apprenticeship with.

In 1990, he was recruited to teach woodwork in a woodworking school in Rotherham, and since that time has being teaching woodworking to keen, enthusiastic amateur and professional improvers as a qualified instructor.

Bob has years of experience in teaching people of all skill levels from complete novices to experts.  Whether you simply wish to develop new skills, or have a project you have always wanted to try, Bob is the man to help you realise your dreams.

Having been certified by City and Guilds as an Advanced Carpenter and Joiner, specialising in Purpose Made Joinery, Bob has achieved City and Guilds in teaching and is qualified as an adult education trainer.
