 The Woodwork Room is part of the Woodworking Academy and Routing Academy, at Skills Development, run by Master Woodworker Bob Lambert.
Owned and managed by Bob Lambert, The Woodwork Room is located in the heart of Yorkshire near Nether Poppleton and situated near the commercial centers of York, Harrogate, Leeds, Wakefield and Sheffield. With excellent communication links by road, A1 and M1, or rail, York is situated on the East Coast mainline, we are ideally situated for a fantastic visit.
The Woodwork Room provides tuition in woodturning, routing, cabinet making and furniture making. Bob is also qualified to provide tuition in the use of power tools including the Shopsmith woodworking system.
The Woodwork Room also provides tuition specific to routing, joinery, dovetailing and moulding.
If you are looking to enhance your woodworking skills and abilities, either professionally or as a hobby, The Woodwork Room is your ideal choice for an educational yet enjoyable experience. Indeed Bob insists that ‘all courses taught by him MUST be FUN!’
Bob runs courses to suit people who are retired, approaching retirement or just wish to take up a hobby, also catering for professional improvers of all levels and offer power tool training.
